About Me
- Name: mutRupuLLi
- Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Physically as I move into the future with the rest of the world , I discover that my ethical, moral and philosophical time axes are pointing in the opposite direction. I am on the journey into the past. A misanthropic socialist(now what is that?) by choice, I am an individualist by nature. The philosophy I have developed independently is somewhat similar to deep ecology. A master cynic, I believe in questioning and doubting everything and I often do what Russell suggests: "In all affairs it's a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted". Existing simultaneously in two absolutely different and opposite states, I strive for equilibrium, which in my world is not necessarily somewhere in between. Needless to say, among my favourite literary characters are Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. A 'nadamadum'(mobile) oxymoron, I also pen under the pseudonym of 'mutRupuLLi'(Full Stop).

my comments were overdue since long. loved that lyrics from siraichalai. more so because i could understand them. i have some learning disability with respect to lyrics/poems. i can understand the words individually but not the whole line. that one was refreshingly simple, yet evocative.
can you explain the lines in this post?
CV,
As far as my understanding goes, Bharathi says essentially that he is treating Death(Kala) as just a blade of grass. Normally one doesn't hesitate to stamp on grass and in fact does it with authority. Bharathi goes many steps further and claims that he shall trample even Lord of Death with the same impunity. In other words he has the ultimate disdain for death.
(I do not know of any deeper significance to this)
Wow..
imagine my predicament....i was reading kaala as "leg" ...and hence could not make sense of it... good that Bharathi was not around.....else he would have first trampled me :-)
as a stray thought, it is an irony that he who wanted to trample death was himself trampled to death
CV, you have a point. It is irony indeed. BTW, I guess you are a Tamil staying in Hyderabad preparing for Civil services. Am i right?
Shhhh! Thats a secret. ;-)
Anyway, you got the CV of CV.
